Background

Ball was born in the Los Angeles metropolitan area in Anaheim, California. He attended high school at Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, California. There he averaged a triple-double with averages of 23.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and 11.7 assists per game. In November 2015, he signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of California, Los Angeles. Ball's vision and passing skills led UCLA's rise up the national rankings.
